Enough is Enough

Enough is Enough
In a remarkable time when many developing nations depend basically upon its human resources, we daily see our country neglecting the most needed and vital key of the Unemployed Postgraduates Cadres who are really the cornerstone of any potential healthy and strong Morocco. Yesterday, Wednesday 20/2010, during their usual peaceful protestation in the near squares of the Parliament, more than 45 cadres were badly beaten by the aggressive police causing 2 broken arms with a required operation, not to mention casual immoral and debasing insults. Spending more than 13 months in humiliation and despair and encamping in Rabat, the cadres attain a breaking point. Recent national and international reports on human rights in Morocco speak volumes of disgraceful regression. In this light and with these daily casualties, the government only adds salt to injury. If there is indeed an initiative of durable human development (INDH), the cadres should be treated nicely and must be considered as partners in the potential targeted development. Therefore, the government should find a solution as soon as possible, otherwise it has to bear the whole cost of casualties to come.
